The stand consists mainly of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) with scattered European black pines (Pinus nigra J.F.Arnold). The forest is characterized by a homogeneous structure. A particular characteristic of the Hartheim Forest Meteorology Site are regularly reoccurring summer dry periods.
