Abstract
Deposition (monthly and annual) of nitrogen compounds was calculated on the basis of analisys of throughfall samples.
Collectors were installed in the spruce stand at the high of 750m asl.

Method Description
Bulk deposition was sampled in an open area close to the monitoring station. Permanent plot (50 m x 50 m) was equipped with randomly distributed 10 throughfall collectors. The water samples were collected on a monthly basis. Ion chromatograhic method was used to determine NO3-, concentrations (Dionex DX100, column AS4A). Concentration of NH4+ in water samples was determined using the Nessler method.
