Basic Information
Abstract
Tree height is estimated using laser rangefinder model "TruPulse 200" manufactured by "Laser Technology" company.
Canopy length is measured using a measuring tape held by two people standing in the east-west direction, either north-south.
Browsing height is estimated using measuring tape from the ground up to the high point of browsed branches.
The lowest leaf height is measured using measuring tape from the ground up to the first low leaf.
The trunk perimeter is measured with a soft measuring tape at the height of the tree tag, which is placed in a fixed position on the trunk.
The greenes index is detected by taking NDVI photo of the tree from south position, using TETRACAM MULTISPECTRAL camera. The photos are analized by PIXELWRENCH2 softwrae.
Photograph of the tree is taken from a southern position including a 1-meter scale stick and a color palette for calibration. ImageJ software is used for analyzing the RGB channels (data not supplied).
The foliage, flowers, and pods are visually rated on a scale of 0 to 5 (low-high).
