Continuous monitoring of physical-chemical variables in high-mountains lakes (Sierra Nevada)

Abstract
This dataset contains data on physical-chemical variables measured in three high-mountain lakes in Sierra Nevada (SE Spain): La Caldera (3023 m a.s.l.), Laguna Larga (2782 m a.s.l.) and Río Seco (3026 m a.s.l.).

The variables measured include: Water Temperature, pH, Conductivity, Fluorescent Dissolved Organic Matter, Oxidation Reduction Potential, Salinity, Total Dissolved Solids, Dissolved Oxygen, Chlorophyll-a and Phycocyanin concentrations.

These variables were measured using YSI EXO2 multiparameter sondes, which have been installed at 1.5 meters below the water surface since 2021.
