Description
The area belongs to the humid zone with a very intense but short cold spell. The climatic data such as wind direction, precipitation, solar radiation, wind speed and other parameters are continuously recorded by means of a data logger in a container on the plot and transmitted regularly to a database within the Austrian Research Centre for Forests (BFW).
