Saint Peter and Saint Paul’s Archipelago (SPSPA; 00°55´N, 29°21´W) comprise a small group of five islets and rocks located 1010 km off the Northeastern Brazilian coast. Shallow reefs of SPSPA are covered mainly by the zoanthid Palythoa caribaeorum and algae of the genera Bryopsis, Caulerpa, and Dictyota. Benthic communities at tidal pools are composed mainly by P. caribaeorum and epilithic algal matrix.
