Long-term grassland trials in Gumpenstein

In total there are six long-term trial areas at the Gumpenstein research site. The cutting frequency trial (GL-434.A) and the nutrient deficiency trial (GL-432.A) have been in operation since spring 1960. The fertilization and utilisation trial (GL-433) was established in 1961 and was converted in 1993. In addition, the slurry trial (GL-444) has been in operation since 1962, the yield-dynamic manure trial (GL-484) since 1966, and the compost trial (GL-604) since 1991.
