The site, previously used for Gemona+ sampling, integrates various methods for comprehensive biodiversity monitoring. These include bioacoustic monitoring, eDNA analysis of soil samples, and the deployment of a malaise trap to collect flying insect specimens.This plot serves now as a key site for long-term biodiversity research, contributing to the broader objectives of the eLTER initiative in understanding ecosystem dynamics and the effects of environmental change on biodiversity.
