Organic grasland sampling location Moarhof

The 1.16 hectare organically managed grassland is located in the municipality of Stainach-Pürgg, in the district Liezen. The plot is situated within the Natura 2000 site ESG 41, „Enns Valley between Liezen and Niederstuttern“ (AT2229002/VS) and is mowed twice a year (the mowed material is removed) and is not fertilised. It is a typical litter meadow for this region. In 2026, an insect survey is conducted in accordance with the eLTER standard observation SOBIO_14 (flying insects using a black Malaise trap). In addition, soil sampling with the standard observation SOBIO_022 (eDNA soil) and vegetation surveys (SOBIO_017) are planned.
