Description
The meteorological monitoring network for the Estate comprises 12 automaic detection stations. The meteorological monitoring stations consist of a combination of both historical (since 1995) and recent meteorological stations (since 2021).
In general, the main recorded meteorological measurements include Air Temperature and Relative Humidity (AT/RH), Precipita7on (PR), Soil Temperature (ST), Global Solar Radia7on (SR), Wind Direction and Speed (WD/WS). Campo Rota station include also Soil Moisture at 10cm, 50cm, and 100cm (WC).
The Grotte di Piastra sta7on is equipped with a 4G router used to establish a LAN connection between the PC and various data loggers to which all instruments are connected. It is linked to the tower ICOS cod. IT-Cp2.
