Site Description
Little Rock Lake (LIRO) is a relocatable site and part of NEON's Great Lakes 05 Domain. LIRO a seepage lake located in Wisconsin. LIRO is representation. No streams enter or drain the waterway. More than 98 percent of the lake's water comes from rainfall and snowmelt, so Little Rock is highly sensitive to atmospheric pollutants. This site has one meteorological station located in the riparian area and one meteorological station above water on a buoy. The met stations are outfitted with the a subset of the same sensors used at terrestrial sites.
