Site Description
Depuis 2015 le site rennais participe au programme Kalidéos du CNES assurant l'acquisition de données satellitaires (Pléiades, SPOT 6/7, Sentinel I/II) pour la cartographie, le suivi et la caractérisation de l'environnement urbain (pour le site de Rennes). Ces acquisitions permettent de suivre l'évolution de la consommation foncière, l'artificialisation des sols, la végétation urbaine (surface, hauteur). Le lien étroit avec les services de la métropole a permis également de constituer une base de données d'observation réalisées à partir de d'acquisition aéroportées : orthophotoplans (10/20cm), images hyperspectrales (jour/nuit), LIDAR. L'ensemble de ces outils ont permis de définir d'une base de connaissance en 2D et en 3D de l'évolution environnement urbain de la métropole rennaise depuis 2010.
