Method Description
Reactive phosphorus is determined by mean of the colorimetric method. The determination is based on the reaction of orthophosphate with ammonium molybdate and potassium antimony tartrate with the formation of the phosphomolybdic antimony complex, in turn reduced by the L-ascorbic acid to the molybdenum blue dye whose spectrum has the maximum absorbance at 882 nm.
