Method Description
The colorimetric method for the determination of dissolved reactive silica, is based on the reaction of silica with sodium molybdate in acidic conditions, to form the silicomolybdic complex which is then reduced from the stannous chloride to the molybdenum blue dye which is determined by reading the spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 815 nm;
