Description
Bosco Fontana station is located in a natural reserve in the middle of the Po Valley, a very polluted area in northern Italy, a few kilometers far from the city of Mantova. The site is a 233 hectares mixed oak-hornbeam forest, one of the latest relics of the natural forests of the Po river valley. The reserve is surrounded by very intense agricultural activity.
