TREE NET Sensor plot

At Klausenleopoldsdorf, the harmonized protocol (TREE NET) is applied with particular attention to the site's existing site setup of the ICP Forest plot "Klausenleopoldsdorf". 3 Natkon ZN12-T-WP point dendrometers are mounted in height´s between 125 cm and 130 cm (BHD) on dominant and co- dominant trees of Eurpean beech (Fagus sylvatica) facing in different directions. In addition three TEROS-21 sensors for soil- temperature and soil water potential are buried in different depths (15 cm, 30 cm, 60 cm) according to the ICP soil moisture measurement setup within the plot. The 60 cm TEROS sensor was at the installation into permanent water flow (slope). The measurment start was in March 2026.
