Purpose
This LTER site was first created in 2017, and will start a systematic data acquisition of environmental (climate, seawater salinity, dissolved O2, and temperature) along the estuaries and on the coastal zone. Biological benthic communities will be used as proxy to study long-term environmental changes, together with local experiments and ecological assessments of the marine biodiversity and function within critical habitats.
