DEIMS is an information management system designed to help users discover long-term ecosystem research sites worldwide, along with the people and networks associated with them. It provides detailed descriptions of a wide range of sites, offering comprehensive information on their location, ecosystems, facilities, measured parameters, and research themes.
DEIMS is a core service component of the emerging eLTER Research Infrastructure. It serves as the official site registry for both the eLTER and ILTER networks, while remaining open to any environmental monitoring or research site to be documented. By doing so, it supports both European stakeholders and the broader global research community.
