General Characteristics, Purpose, History
Long-term vegetation changes are tracked over time since the proclamation of the reserve in 1969 until present
Parts of the Goegap Nature Reserve were historically overgrazed by livestock. Following proclamation of the reserve in 1966 and subsequent fencing of the reserve in 1969, wildlife was introduced and changes in vegetation monitored over time.
